Flow - The Most Peaceful Movie I've Ever Seen

A few days ago I really wanted to watch a movie, but the thought of just lying awake listening to calm music also seemed quite appealing. Flow satisfied both of these desires perfectly. There’s no dialogue throughout the whole movie, but rather beautiful art, wonderful music, pure story, and raw emotion.

Honestly, it’s less of a movie and more of an experience. The way the camera glides around the environment, the breathtaking visuals, the quiet communication between the animals, it’s so easy to get immersed in the story and just feel.

And now that it’s over, sitting in the dark in silence is wonderful. Somehow, for a few brief moments while I write this, all the voices are gone. Just me and my thoughts, still without words, contemplating the details and metaphors of the film. Letting myself wander…

Maybe, the trials we go through are able to benefit others, perhaps in ways unseen. Easy times for one may be causing trials in another’s life instead. As we all do our best to lift each other up, we can work though our collective trials together, as well as celebrate our successes of overcoming of such hardships.

Love people for as they are, even if you don’t agree with their choices.

P.S. Dogs are the worst.
